I have four brackets simultaneously---all for fun.
Michigan is my pick in one.
I have one women's bracket. I do not follow women's basketball. I blindly picked. As of this morning I was in first place with a perfect score!!! I don't know if God cares about brackets, but maybe he cares about the blind and uninformed. :)
I live in Kentucky. After this weekend there will be two Michigan teams in the Sweet Sixteen.
There will be no Kentucky teams in sight.
I took 21 hours at University of Louisville and 3 at University of Kentucky. The only time I was even on the campus of a Michigan School was at Michigan about 50 years ago for a national board game convention. "
Edit: In 1978 Origens made its way to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where the Metro Detroit Gamers (MDG) took over.
I loved this one! As I do my own devotional reading of scripture I watch for words that are a springboard for prayer, for those on my heart. From Ps 27 The Lord gives strength to his people, The Lord blesses his people with peace.
Thanks Becky…I have sensed God’s peace today in particular…just saying to myself that “I don’t have anything to worry about”. It’s true all the time, but your prayers helped make it real to me today.
My mom’s favorite chapter of the Bible. She used to note it at the bottom of greeting cards and letters to us (five kids) wherever we were. Just your mentioning it comforts me today. Thank you!
